Partner Cookie Policy
Last updated:
This Cookie Policy explains how Paysaxas Ltd (Cyprus, reg. no. HE439690) (“we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the partner website at affiliate.paysaxas.com (the “Partner Website”). It also covers the Partner Portal of the PaySaxas Partner Programme, which is operated by PaySaxas Oy (Business ID 3387454-8, Lapinlahdenkatu 16, 00180 Helsinki, Finland); for the Partner Portal, “we” means PaySaxas Oy. The Partner Website and the Partner Portal are together the “Sites”.
Except for strictly necessary cookies, we store information on your device or read information stored on it only with your consent, as required by the ePrivacy rules (Directive 2002/58/EC and the national laws implementing it). You can give, refuse or withdraw your consent at any time (see section 4), and we store your choice in a cookie on your device. How PaySaxas Oy processes the personal data of partners is described in the Partner Privacy Notice. The website paysaxas.com has its own Cookie Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer or mobile device. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, store information in the same way. In this Policy, “cookies” includes these similar technologies.
Technical logs. When you visit the Sites, our servers automatically record technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of access, to keep the Sites stable and secure. This does not depend on your cookie choices. Where this data is personal data, we process it on the basis of our legitimate interest in the security and stable operation of the Sites (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) and delete it within 90 days from our working systems and within a further 12 months from our encrypted archive.
2. Which cookies we use
Necessary cookies keep the Sites working and secure. They keep you signed in to the Partner Portal, protect our forms and your session (for example, against cross-site request forgery) and remember your cookie choices. They are set by default and do not need your consent, because they are strictly necessary to provide the service you have asked for.
Other cookies are set on the Partner Website only if you accept them. They may include functional cookies (for example, to remember your language or to enable Google reCAPTCHA, which protects our forms against automated abuse), performance cookies that help us understand how the Partner Website is used, and marketing cookies. The cookie settings on the Partner Website show which categories and cookies are in use at any time, with their purpose, duration and provider, and let you accept or refuse each category.
Google reCAPTCHA. reCAPTCHA (cookie _GRECAPTCHA; a Functional cookie on the Partner Website and a necessary cookie on the Partner Portal) protects the registration, sign-in and contact forms against automated abuse. Because it reads information from your device and sends it to Google, we load it on the Partner Website only if you accept Functional cookies. If you decline them or cannot complete the check, write to partners@paysaxas.com and we will help you complete your request another way. Once reCAPTCHA is loaded, we process the data it collects on the basis of our legitimate interest in protecting the Sites (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Google LLC may process this data in the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which it is certified. On the Partner Portal, reCAPTCHA protects the registration, sign-in (including the second sign-in step), account-recovery, account-unlock and email confirmation pages and loads without your consent, because the Partner Portal cannot be used securely without it.
How long cookies last. The cookie settings on the Partner Website list the cookies it uses, with their purpose, duration and provider. On the Partner Portal, the sign-in cookie lasts up to 1 day, a security cookie that recognises your browser lasts 2 years and is renewed at each sign-in, and the reCAPTCHA cookie (_GRECAPTCHA), which is set by Google, lasts 6 months.
3. How to block or delete cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Instructions for common browsers:
If you block necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in to the Partner Portal, and some parts of the Sites may not work.
4. How to change your choices
The Partner Portal uses only strictly necessary technologies and has no cookie banner. You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future, through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page of the Partner Website. Withdrawal does not affect the use of cookies before it. We ask for your choice again when the cookie that stores it expires, as shown in the cookie settings.
5. Changes and contact
We update this Policy when the cookies we use change. The version and the date from which it applies are shown at the top. If we start to use cookies for a new purpose, we will ask for your consent again.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU or EEA country where you live or work or where the alleged infringement took place, for example the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (for the Partner Website) or the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland (for the Partner Portal).
